Canada’s Got Talent recently announced that Season 2 of the show will be premiering March 21, and we already have a sneak peek at one of the upcoming auditions. Based on the reactions of the judges and audience, this performance will be pretty shocking.
Canada’s Got Talent Teases Season 2 Audition
In the new clip, posted to the CGT Instagram account, a woman approaches a microphone on the show’s stage. When judge Howie Mandel asks what she does, she simply calls herself an entertainer, without going into specifics.
Mandel wishes her luck, and she goes on to start her performance. However, we’re not shown what’s happening on stage. Instead, we see the judges and audience reacting to it. We hear what seem to be wildlife sounds as everyone watches with their mouths agape.
“SNEAK PEEK! You think you know what’s coming?! You’ll have to see it to believe it!” reads the video’s caption. “Prepare to be amazed! Canada’s Got Talent Season 2 premieres TUESDAY March 21 on @City_tv!”

All Four Judges Are Returning to The Panel
All four of last year’s judges are returning to the panel for Season 2 of CGT. That includes Howie Mandel, Lilly Singh, Trisha Stratus, and Kardinal Offishall. The show will also once again be hosted by singer Lindsay Ell.
The show began filming auditions for the new season back in October, with hopefuls taking the stage at Fallsview Casino Resort in Niagara Falls. This week, the show announced that Season 2 will premiere on Citytv on March 21.
Judge Kardinal Offishall recently revealed that his favorite moment from the first season of the show was when Howie Mandel got on a stripper pole after a contestant’s performance. Hopefully we’ll see even more funny moments like that one when the show returns for the new season.
