One of the Canada’s Got Talent judges revealed his hilarious favorite season one moment, and it’s not what you would expect. When asked about his favorite moment from the first season of CGT, he simply answered with “Howie on the pole.”
Kardinal Offishall’s Favorite CGT Moment is Howie Mandel Pole Dancing
The Canadian rapper and record producer Kardinal Offishall has been a judge on the revivals first and second seasons. He recently got asked what his favorite moment is from the show, and after thinking long and hard, he revealed it was from fellow judge Howie Mandel.
“Howie on the pole. Howie on the pole stripping like Mike the stallion was definitely my favorite from season one for sure,” Kardinal Offishall said. “Howie’s hands down not mine.”
The moment he’s referring to is when Mandel tried out pole dancing after a contestant named Matt Ryan wowed him while performing a pole dance routine on stage.
Ryan displayed incredible strength and body control during his audition on CGT season two. Unfortunately, Mandel lacked the physical capabilities to imitate Ryan’s nearly perfect routine. His hilarious try the laughs from the audience and entertained them as well, just in a different way.
CGT Just Finished Another Week of Filming
The second season of CGT is set to premiere on March 21 on Citytv, and filming is close to wrapping up. Just as another week of filming ends, Mandel, along with other judges Trish Stratus, Lilly Singh and Kardinal Offishall, are giving it their all in selecting which acts can move on for the chance to win.
Mandel admitted that he was feeling under the weather during that show, where the usual Mandel energy was not present. But talking about Niagara Falls, which has nearly become his second home, cheers him up tremendously. In addition to CGT, and regular casino appearances, Mayor Jim Diodati gave him the key to the city.
Fans are eagerly awaiting the return of the newest season of the show, where they’ll witness all new talented acts. The official Instagram of the show just released a new promo showing the live audience’s reaction to the performances.
