‘Britain’s Got Talent’ Returns After Two-Year Break Due to Covid-19

Britain’s Got Talent is officially filming series 15 at The London Palladium. All of the beloved judges and hosts are returning to the show in the upcoming season, which will premiere in late 2022.
Britain’s Got Talent took a short hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The series wanted to ensure that everyone in the cast, crew, and audience would be safe during the show.
The series began filming auditions in The London Palladium on Jan. 16, they will conclude auditions on Jan. 25. Even though the world is still affected by Covid-19, the ticket request website specifies this as a non-socially distant event and Covid-19 status will be checked at the door. As of right now, nine out of 13 filming dates are fully booked.
Two Golden Buzzers Hit on First Day of Filming
Even though it’s been almost two years, BGT‘s beloved judges returned to their seats. Audience members shared photos of the iconic “X”s above the stage. Simon Cowell also returned to the show alongside longtime judges David Walliams, Amanda Holden, and Alesha Dixon. On top of the judges, fans have also confirmed that Ant and Dec are hosting the series once again.
Since filming began, the show’s Instagram page has been posting up a storm. They’ve shared photos of the venue, acts, judges, and everything in between. It seems like Britain’s Got Talent is off to a great start. Audience members confirmed that two golden buzzers were given in last nights filming! It’s been rumored that Cowell was one of the judges that hit a golden buzzer on the first night of filming.
Britain’s Got Talent fans shared their excitement for what’s to come in this season of the series. The show has gone on to answer some of the biggest questions in relation to the new season. On Instagram, they confirmed that BGT will return to television later this year. Even though there isn’t an official premiere date, the Instagram page has promised to share sneak peeks.
