Blake Shelton is closing out his final season as a coach on The Voice with a special honor. The country star is set to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame later this month. The ceremony will take place on Friday, May 12.
Blake Shelton to Receive Hollywood Walk of Fame Star
According to Access Hollywood, Shelton will celebrate receiving his star in a ceremony hosted by Kit Hoover and attended by Shelton’s wife Gwen Stefani and The Voice host Carson Daly, who will also deliver speeches.
“Blake Shelton is one of the music and television world’s most popular entertainers,” Walk of Fame producer Ana Martinez said in a statement. “He keeps ‘The Voice’ audiences in stitches with his witty banter and he has captured many fans’ hearts with his soulful country voice. To think that he began his career at the age of 17 is amazing. We are proud to have him join the Hollywood Walk of Fame.”
Fans will be able to watch the ceremony exclusively on the Walk of Fame website on May 12 at 11:30 a.m. PT. The ceremony will take place at 6212 Hollywood Boulevard in front of Amoeba Music. According to the Walk of Fame, Shelton is receiving the 2,755th star.

Other Talent Show Celebrities Have Received Stars
Shelton isn’t the only talent show personality to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame recently. His fellow coach Kelly Clarkson received a star last September, and former coach Nick Jonas received one as part of the Jonas Brothers earlier this year.
Before that, America’s Got Talent host Terry Crews received a star in 2021. Other talent show celebrities with stars include Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Sofia Vergara, Lionel Richie, Carrie Underwood, and Jennifer Hudson.
Shelton is currently coaching on his final season of The Voice, having been on the show since its inception. The competition is heating up as the Playoffs are taking place.
