Blake Shelton Brought Gwen Into The Country World
Gwen Stefani’s relationship with fellow Voice coach Blake Shelton has brought her into the world of country music. “Nobody But You” even made it to No. 1 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart, making Blake’s wish come true.
“We’re hoping it goes all the way to the top, for everybody involved, but for me personally to know that Gwen Stefani is a part of a No. 1 country song,” Blake said earlier this year. “What is this world?”
In July, the couple released another duet called “Happy Anywhere,” along with a video shot from quarantine. The song was an immediate hit, and Blake and Gwen performed the track at the ACM Awards earlier this month.
Both Blake and Gwen will return to their coaches’ chairs when The Voice premieres October 19 on NBC. The CMT Awards, meanwhile, will air October 21.
