Australia’s Got Talent is returning this October after a hiatus, and BGT judges Alesha Dixon and David Walliams are sitting on the panel this season. The show recently teased some of the upcoming acts fans can expect to see.
Australia’s Got Talent Teases Season 10 with New Judges
Australia’s Got Talent last aired a new season in 2019. Season 10 of the show was delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, having originally been scheduled for 2020. The series is now set to air on Australia’s Channel 7 in October.
Ricki-Lee Coulter is returning as the show’s host, and Shane Jacobson is returning for his second season as a judge. He’ll be joined by three new judges, including Australian actress Katie Ritchie and longtime Britain’s Got Talent judges Alesha Dixon and David Walliams.
A new teaser for the season shows an incredible act in which one man balances on another’s head. Dixon can be heard saying, “I feel like I’m watching two superheroes!” At the end of the clip, Walliams calls it “the greatest thing I’ve ever seen on any Got Talent ever.”

This Season Will Feature a Familiar Act
Australia’s Got Talent has also been teasing some of this season’s acts on Instagram, including an acrobatic archer, and aerial performer, and a rola bola act. Another upcoming act might look familiar to fans of America’s Got Talent.
The group Bir Khalsa appeared on AGT in Season 14, shocking the judges with their dangerous act. In the new preview, one group member, “the tallest policeman in the world,” lies down while another member smashes coconuts around him while blindfolded. The judges look terrified by the dangerous act, with Dixon calling them “fearless.”
The new season of Australia’s Got Talent will kick off in October of this year on Channel 7 and 7plus. An exact premiere date has not yet been announced.
