If you want to turn YouTube into a career, we invite you to audition for our Channel Manager Training & Selection Program, taking place in Austin, Texas between April 20th-24th. Throughout those five days you will learn everything there is to know about the YouTube Business, from the driving force behind the internet’s most viral content. This program may lead to full time employment managing million dollar YouTube Channels.

Talent Recap is the Entertainment Industry’s most trusted partner in giving world renowned TV shows a new life on the internet. With shows like America’s Got Talent, The Voice, American Idol, and Family Feud, our channels have generated tens of millions of dollars on YouTube.

NOTE: familiarity with these shows is not a requirement.

If selected, you’ll be spending an expense-paid week in Austin, Texas with our top channel managers. They will teach you everything they know about the business. Lessons will include content selection, thumbnail design, title structure, channel management, the YouTube algorithm, and more. You will leave with a deep understanding of how to start and run multi-million dollar YouTube channels – and two attendees will receive offers to join The Recap Group full time as Assistant Channel Managers.

As an Assistant Channel Manager, you’ll shape how audiences discover and connect with live talent competition content, turning casual viewers into devoted fans. If you know what makes a story land, and can translate creative instincts into content that performs, we want to hear from you.

Assistant Channel Managers will work directly under our top Channel Managers to:

  • Develop and execute content strategies
  • Brainstorm content ideas and assist managers with video execution
  • Master Thumbnail and Title creation
  • Engage and grow online communities
  • Capitalize on viral moments and SEO opportunities to increase channel reach

You’re Going to Hollywood Austin!

This program has been meticulously curated to NOT be just a series of lectures. Your ability to implement what you learn will be tested, and two attendees will be offered Assistant Channel Manager roles within our business.

Assistant Channel Managers will work directly below our top Channel Managers for three to five months, learning the intricate details that make our content go viral, and eventually take over a YouTube Channel(s) as the lead manager.

We are looking for creatives, storytellers, people with an eye for what people want to watch. You do not need prior experience in YouTube or TV to attend. If you are driven, imaginative, and capable of not just telling stories, but creating them, we would love to host you in Austin Texas.

What Will Be Paid For?

As mentioned above, if chosen for this program, a series of expenses will be covered. These expenses include flights to and from Austin; Texas (must be in the USA); hotel room for duration of bootcamp; transportation to and from the airport in Austin, Texas; breakfast and lunch daily; one dinner with all participants.

Accommodations will be arranged at Carpenter Hotel, located at 400 Josephine St, Austin, TX 78704. The hotel features a lake, a pool, and an all-day coffee bar. It is also a short walk away from downtown Austin.

How Do I Sign Up?
