American Idol Winner Hannah Harper Releases New Song
During the Season 24 finale of American Idol, Hannah Harper took the stage to perform an original song called “Married Into This Town.” The track is now available for fans to stream, and an official visualizer for the song was also released on YouTube.
Harper’s song is about living in Willow Springs, Missouri, with her family. As she sings in the first verse, “I left behind those city streets / For a small-town boy and his grandma’s ring.” On the chorus, Harper sings, “Some people can’t wait to get out / Oh, but I married into this town.”
The track shows off Harper’s incredible country voice, and the video features cameos from her husband and kids. The singer can also be seen strumming her guitar amidst nature. The song is available for fans to listen to now on various streaming services.
Hannah Harper is having a busy year. Since winning American Idol in May, the singer has made her Grande Ole Opry debut (including a duet with Carrie Underwood) and signed with the major talent agency WME Group. Harper also has plenty of live performances lined up.
She’s currently performing her String Cheese tour of the United States, and last month it was announced that she’s joining Lauren Alaina on tour this fall. Harper also recently shared that she’ll be a special guest on Brad Paisley’s tour on select dates in August and September.
