Alan Bersten Calls ‘DWTS’ Partner Amanda Kloots ‘Inspirational’ in Sweet Interview

Dancing with the Stars pro Alan Bersten stopped by The Talk this week. The show just so happens to be co-hosted by his Season 30 celebrity partner, Amanda Kloots. The pair just made it to the Finals, and they took a few minutes to discuss their experience on the show.
In a particularly heartwarming moment, the pair talked about their recent contemporary routine paying tribute to Kloots’ late husband Nick Cordero. Bersten had some sweet words about his partner and why he finds her “inspirational.”
Alan Bersten, Amanda Kloots Discuss ‘DWTS’ on ‘The Talk’
On Monday night, Amanda Kloots and Alan Bersten danced to “Live Your Life,” a song written by Kloots’ late husband Nick Cordero, who died of COVID-19 last year. The hauntingly beautiful routine earned a perfect score from the judges. Bersten said he “couldn’t keep it together” through the emotional performance, calling Kloots “so strong.”
“It was honestly a life-changing performance for me,” Bersten shared. “The fact that I was able to be there for Amanda and take her on this amazing journey. This dance was more than a dance … I really wanted to make it special, not for Dancing with the Stars. I wanted to make it special for Amanda, for Elvis [her son], for anyone who went through any type of grief.”
Bersten went on to say they’ve gotten an “amazing response” from people who said their dance depicted things they couldn’t express with words. He said of Kloots, “We all know how inspirational she is, and how bright her light shines, and I’m so honored.”

The Dance Partners Teach ‘The Talk’ Co-Hosts a Few Moves
Bersten gushed about how quickly Kloots picks up the dance moves, saying he “can never ask for a better partner.” The dancer went on to try and teach Kloots’ The Talk co-hosts a few moves, with her helping him demonstrate.
The partners showed off a sassy little routine that ended in a dip. Bersten went on to teach the co-hosts some shoulder and hip action. Jerry O’Connell definitely got into it the most, as he actually took his shirt off toward the end.
