Former ‘AGT’ Star Returns for a Golden Buzzer in Early Release Audition

America’s Got Talent has revealed another Golden Buzzer act from Season 20, in an early release audition from Tuesday night’s new episode. The clip features singer Jessica Sanchez, who previously competed on AGT back in Season 1.
Jessica Sanchez Earns AGT Golden Buzzer in Early Release
In the clip, Jessica Sanchez introduced herself to the AGT judges, sharing that she competed on the very first season of the show when she was just 10 years old. She made it to the Semifinals before being eliminated. Jessica went on to compete on American Idol Season 11, finishing in second place.
Before performing, Jessica admitted to the judges that she eventually “fell out of love with music” but now knows “exactly who I am.” She shared that she’s married now, and revealed that she’s expecting her first child with her husband.
For her audition, Jessica chose to cover Benson Boone’s “Beautiful Things.” She showed off a powerhouse voice that had the audience cheering. All four judges were on their feet at the end of the performance. Howie Mandel said she made the song her own and “blew the roof off the place.”
Sofia Vergara was especially impressed by Jessica’s audition, calling it a “special moment.” She loved the performance so much, she chose to hit the Golden Buzzer to send Jessica straight into the Season 20 live shows.

Season 20 Returns on Tuesday Night
AGT Season 20 is still in the audition phase of the competition, with this week marking the seventh episode of new acts. Thanks to the early release clip, we now know that Jessica Sanchez will earn the Golden Buzzer in this episode. Will anyone else receive the honor?
The new episode will air on Tuesday night at 8/7c on NBC. All of the AGT judges have now pressed the Golden Buzzer two times each, except for Howie Mandel. There also has yet to be a group Golden Buzzer this season. Could we see one this week?
