Have you ever wanted to watch a Carrie Underwood concert from the comfort of your own home? You can do just that in 2025, as Underwood is set to release a concert special streaming on Hulu.

Carrie Underwood to Release Concert Film in 2025

Underwood’s new concert special will feature footage from her Las Vegas residency, Carrie Underwood: Reflection. The concert includes performances of Underwood’s biggest hits from throughout her 20-year career in country music.

The American Idol winner kicked off her Vegas residency at Resorts World Las Vegas back in 2021. The new special is set to stream on Hulu in January 2025. The show will include fourteen No. 1 hits and songs from all nine of Underwood’s albums.

The announcement of Underwood’s upcoming special follows the success of concert films by stars such as Taylor Swift and Olivia Rodrigo. Swift released a movie version of her hugely popular Eras Tour last year, and Rodrigo’s GUTS World Tour is available to stream on Netflix.

Underwood Is Joining American Idol Next Year

Next year will be big for Underwood, and not just because she’s releasing a concert special. She’s also joining the American Idol judging panel for Season 23, replacing longtime judge Katy Perry. Underwood will sit alongside returning judges Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie.

The new season is set to kick off with a two-hour premiere on Sunday, March 9, on ABC. This is a later premiere date than fans have gotten used to in recent years. The last time the show premiered in March was back in Season 17.

Last season, singer Abi Carter was named the winner. Who will take the top spot this year? We’ll have to wait and see. Are you excited to watch the new season? Let us know in the comments below.
