Adam Levine, Riley Green, Kelly Clarkson, and Queen Latifah on 'The Voice' 2026

The Voice Season 30 returned on Monday night for the show’s very first Cut Week, as the remaining artists fought to keep their spots on their coaches’ teams. The Top 13 will be rounded out with one more artist according to votes from viewers.

The Voice Coaches Narrow Down Teams in Cut Week

During Cut Week, each of the four coaches on The Voice got to choose two artists from their team to send straight through to the live shows. The remaining five members of their team then had to perform for their chance to take the third spot. First up was Queen Latifah, who chose to keep Mia Knight and BigCountry on her team going into the live shows.

She then watched performances from the remaining artists, including Bryan Jaymes, who sang “Use Me” by Bill Withers; Destinee Monroe, who performed “Space Oddity” by David Bowie; Alt Bloom, who sang “For the First Time” by The Script; and Chari, who performed “Killing Me Softly with His Song” by Roberta Flack.

Ultimately, however, Latifah chose to keep Lillie Colich on her team after the artist performed “Friday I’m in Love” by The Cure. Latifah said she “could not be more proud” of her. The remaining four artists will be put up for America’s vote for their chance to earn a spot in the live shows.

The next coach to narrow down their team was Adam Levine, who chose to send Lexi Stephens and Connor Closs straight into the live shows. He then watched the remaining five artists perform, including Evan James on a cover of “Midnight Train to Memphis” by Chris Stapleton; Owen Uffens with a rendition of “Electric Feel” by MGMT; Amanda Mikkel with “A Thousand Miles” by Vanessa Carlton; and Brandon Diaz on “Dare You to Move” by Switchfoot.

Ultimately, Levine chose to keep Dakota Cohen on his team, as he compered her to former coach Miley Cyrus after her performance of “Hemmorhage (In My Hands)” by Fuel. The other artists can be voted on by The Voice fans.

Which Other Artists Moved on to the Live Shows?

The next The Voice coach to choose which artists they wanted to move on was Riley Green. He picked Cade Mower and Ferryn & Brinkley to go straight into the live shows. After that, he watched performances from Allie Rae, who sang “4x4xU” by Lainey Wilson; Everett Bounds, who performed “Killin’ Time” by Clint Black; Keiyana Osmond, who sang “Will You Love Me Tomorrow” by Carole King; and Kayleigh Mathews, who performed “Walking After Midnight” by Patsy Cline.

However, Green ultimately chose to keep Joe Henley on his team after hearing the 19-year-old’s cover of “Don’t Close Your Eyes” by Keith Whitley. Fellow coach Kelly Clarkson said she would be “mind blown” if Joe doesn’t end up in the finale, while Green said he would be “so rich and famous” if he could sing like him.

The final coach to make their decisions on Monday night’s episode of The Voice was Kelly Clarkson, who chose to keep Koumba Diallo and Anna McElroy on her team going into the live shows. She then watched performances from the five other artists on her team, including Marcus Ladden Jr., who sang “You’ll Never Find Another Love Like Mine” by Lou Rawls; Brooklyn Marie, who sang “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road” by Elton John; Nina Howland, who performed “In the Kitchen” by Reneé Rapp; and Kyle Davis, who sang “Can’t Find My Way Home” by Blind Faith.

Ultimately, Clarkson chose to keep 13-year-old Brianna Cameron on her team after she heard her sing “Inseparable” by Natalie Cole. Clarkson compared her to a young Whitney Houston, joking that she’s so good she’s “like an alien.” The remaining artists on both Clarkson and Green’s teams will have the chance to take the final spot in the Top 13 according to viewers’ votes.
