Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough, Cynthia Erivo, and Bruno Tonioli on 'Dancing With the Stars'

Dancing With the Stars returned to ABC and Disney+ a night early for this year’s Disney Night. The night, dedicated this year to Disney on Broadway, brought good vibes and tons of sing-along opportunities. This night featured guest judge Cynthia Erivo.

Harry Shum Jr. and Jenna Johnson Earn Perfect Score with Jazz

Amber Glenn and Pasha Pashkov kicked off the night with their Disney Night quickstep. The pair danced to “A Star is Born” from Hercules, and they were both dressed as the movie’s main character. Amber was inspired by the training arc from Hercules, so this song choice was perfect for her progress on the show. The pair earned 34 out of 40 points for this dance.

Up next was Traitors team Maura Higgins and Mark Ballas. They performed a Jive to “You Can Fly! You Can Fly! You Can Fly!” from Peter Pan. This was the perfect choice for Maura, since she often says “tink” instead of “think.” The pair earned 32 out of 40 points for this performance.

Then, actress Tatyana Ali and Jan Ravnik performed a contemporary to “Easy As Life” from Aida. They earned 33 out of 40 points for this dance. After that Harry Shum Jr. and Jenna Johnson took the floor with a Jazz to “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” from Mary Poppins. Their lively dance earned 40 out of 40 points.

Julia Stiles Redeems Herself

Ezra Frech and Daniella Karagach brought The Little Mermaid into the ballroom for their Samba to “Under the Sea.” Samba is an incredibly hard dance, so their backstory included a ton of footage of Daniella adapting the dance to Ezra. They earned a 37 out of 40 points for this performance.

Julia Stiles returned to the ballroom tonight after earning a 4 from her and Ezra Sosa’s Argentine Tango during Horror Movie night. Now, the team is pushing past last week’s judging and redeem herself entirely. Julia once again dealt with a rib injury during rehearsals this week, yet she still performed a Paso Doble to “Satisfied” from Hamilton. This intense dance earned 33 out of 40 points.

The final two individual dances of the night began with Jenna Dewan and Val Chmerkovskiy who danced a quickstep to “Be Our Guest” from Beauty and The Beast. They earned 40 out of 40 points for their performance. Rounding out the night was Connor Wood and Rylee Arnold who perfectly portrayed Flynn Rider and Rapunzel from Tangled. They performed a Waltz to “I See The Light” from Tangled and earned 32 out of 40 points.

Team Dances Return, ___ Eliminated

Team Dances then returned to the ballroom. The two teams consisted of Team Wildcats and Team Slaytopia. Team Wildcats featured Host Julianne Hough with Connor (Team Captain) and Rylee, Ezra and Dani, Jenna and Val, and Harry and Jenna. While, Team Slaytopia featured Host Alfonso Ribeiro with Tatyana (Team Captain) and Jan, Maura and Mark, Amber and Pasha, and Julia and Ezra.

The first to perform was Team Team Slaytopia, who performed to “Zoo” from Zootopia 2. Judges absolutely loved this performance, and honestly both Tatyana and Julia needed the compliments after the rough two weeks they’ve had. Team Slaytopia earned 36 out of 40 points for their performance.

Then, Team Wildcats took the stage to “We’re All In This Together” from High School Musical. Members of this team were determined to keep Connor and Rylee in the competition. Their hard work earned them 40 out of 40 points. Team Wildcats won the Team Dance portion of the night.

To finish off the episode, couples headed into the next week of the competition were named. The final remaining pairs were Maura and Mark, and Julia and Ezra. In the end Julia and Ezra went home.
