Britain’s Got Talent Series 18 returns this week for another round of auditions. In a clip shared on the show’s YouTube channel, a magician named Manho Han performs a stylish quick-change routine for the judges.
Magician Performs Stylish Routine in BGT Audition
Manho’s audition involved the 33-year-old flipping through fashion magazines and changing his outfit to reflect the styles he was looking at on the pages. He started by making a bold pair of red glasses appear on his face.
Next, he took a watch off the page and put it on his wrist. He also added colorful suspenders to his outfit seemingly out of nothing. Things took an unfortunate turn when Manho got too close to the edge of the stage and fell off.
The judges were concerned for him, but he quickly recovered and got right back on the stage to finish his routine. Manho seamlessly transformed one of his magazines into a shopping bag, and then changed his suit from black to red. The BGT crowd cheered for the creative performance.
What Did the Judges Think of the Act?
After Manho’s performance, judge Amanda Holden called him “an absolute professional” for continuing with his routine after the fall. She added that the show has never had a quick-change act “as cool and as slick and as modern as this.”
Alesha Dixon praised the “attention to detail” in Manho’s performance — which he confirmed he put together by himself. KSI told him that he’s “very excited to see what you come up with next.”
Simon Cowell brought up Manho’s accident, arguing that it “sort of made the act better.” All four judges voted “yes” to sending Manho through to the next stage of the competition.
This week’s episode marks the final round of auditions before BGT Series 18 heads into the live Semifinals next week. It was recently announced that the Golden Buzzer will be featured in the live shows this year.
