As Dancing With The Stars’ gear up for Taylor Swift-themed night, they’ve got another guest judge to impress. Professional choreographer Mandy Moore is ready to see if the remaining couple will incredibly shake it off next episode.
Who is Choreographer Mandy Moore?
The dancing reality competition show announced that the November 21 episode of DWTS will be A Celebration of Taylor Swift. The exciting night follows the series’ spectacular Whitney Houston Night.
“Next week is all for you, @taylorswift13,” the ABC series wrote on X Nov. 14. “We can’t wait to make the whole place shimmer for A Celebration of Taylor Swift on #DWTS!”
Indeed, what better way to complete the special night than having the Eras Tour choreographer. Moore was the choreographer on the films La La Land, American Hustle, Silver Linings Playbook, and Babylon. She’s secured Emmy nominations and has won four. On May 2023, Moore won the Chita Rivera Award for Best Choreography in Film for Babylon.
Moore also worked on television shows So You Think You Can Dance and Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist. Furthermore, it’s no first time that the dancing professional will be collaborating with DWTS. From 2015 to 2017, she also served as choreographer on the series’ various dance numbers.
Swift has never claimed to be the best dancer, but with the energy and moves she exudes during her World Tour, Moore has clearly done an excellent job. With her competent background in the dancing and mastery in beats of Swift’s discography, she is totally the best guest judge to have during the special theme night.
Taylor Swift Shares Message Ahead of DWTS Special Theme Night
DWTS cast and fans are not the only ones thrilled to know that there will be Taylor Swift-themed night in the show. Even the “Daylight” hitmaker herself is looking forward to witnessing the upcoming episode.
“I can’t wait to see Dancing With the Stars’ celebration of my Eras next week,” Swift said in a video message on the Nov. 14 episode. “I wish I could be there with you guys, but I am on tour in Brazil. I will be there in spirit and I’ll be watching.”
Last October, DWTS pro Peta Murgatroyd and her celebrity partner Barry Williams revealed that a Taylor Swift-themed night is brewing this season.
“We will be having a Taylor Swift week here,” Murgatroyd said. “Am I allowed to say that?”
“Apparently, I know who Travis Kelce is now. I did not know that name before,” she added.
