Grammy winner Sara Bareilles is coming back to the American Idol stage as a guest performer for Disney Night. Meanwhile, country music superstar Keith Urban will serve as the Finale mentor.
Keith Urban, Sara Bareilles to Serve as Guest Performers on American Idol This Week
Amid the looming Disney Night, American Idol announced that Bareilles will grace the show. The themed night will be airing on May 14, featuring the Top 5 artists remaining in the competition. Bareilles is set to belt out the Pinocchio classic, “When You Wish Upon A Star.”
“Back on the IDOL stage!” the caption reads. “Grammy winner @sarabareilles will open this Sunday’s #DisneyNight with ‘When You Wish Upon A Star’!”
Fans are definitely happy and excited for Bareilles’ upcoming appearance. In the comment section, they took the time to show their support for the musician.
“Looking forward to it all! All so extremely talented this year!!” one fan wrote.
Meanwhile, Halle Bailey will also be performing on the American Idol stage. On Instagram, the show posted a video of her revealing the song she’ll belt out, “Part of Your World.”
Keith Urban is a Finale Mentor
The show is definitely not getting any farther from the Finale. With that, American Idol gave a glimpse of what’s to come. Interestingly, former judge Keith Urban will be serving as Finale mentor.

The country singer was part of the judging panel back in season 12. He joined other iconic personalities Randy Jackson, Mariah Carey, and Nicki Minaj.
American Idol airs its finale on Sunday, May 21, 3023 on ABC.
