Vanessa Hudgens Reveals Beauty Plans for Her Upcoming Wedding Day

Amid her looming wedding day, Vanessa Hudgens recently shared how she wants her makeup done for the special event. Apparently, the High School Musical star is all about enhancing her natural beauty, expressing no bold beauty ideas even on skincare.
Vanessa Hudgens is Going for a Natural Makeup Look for Her Wedding
Intending to stick to the basics, Hudgens will be walking down the aisle wearing little to no makeup. Appearing for an interview in Refinery29, The Princess Switch actress that she would not try to drastically change her face to prepare for her big day.
“Not a lot beauty-wise will change for me between now and then,” she said. “It’s both a philosophy and aesthetic. Natural beauty is where it’s at.”
For those who may not know, Hudgens got engaged to professional baseball player Cole Tucker in back in February. The two have been dating for more than two years before they’ve decided to take their relationship to the next level.
According to the actress, minimalism would not only apply to her makeup but also to her skincare. She noted that she won’t resort to cosmetic treatments like Fraxel lasers, filler or Botox before her wedding.
“I feel like the love of your life accepts you and loves you for who you are, so why would you want to change it?” she said.
Hudgens further stated that she originally wanted to do her makeup on her own. However, as months went on, she realized that she needed help.
She is Set to Tap Her Filipino Heritage in Travel Documentary
The High School Musical star is also set to shoot a travel documentary in the Philippines. For those who may not know, the said nation is the country of her mother’s birth.
The untitled project is said to display Hudgens’ relationship with her mother, Gina, who emigrated to the U.S. at the age of 25. Essentially, the documentary is set to allow the actress to tap pay homage to her mother’s hometown as well as discover her Filipino roots.
“I feel like ours is such a relatable story to so many women all over the world,” Hudgens said. “The more that we can share, the more we can lift each other up.”
Furthermore, the documentary will shoot in Palawan and Manila this March. Paul Soriano, founder of production company TEN17P, is the film’s director, producer, and executive producer.
