Miranda Kerr Says She Loves Katy Perry More Than Ex-Husband Orlando Bloom

American Idol judge Katy Perry is currently engaged to actor Orlando Bloom, with whom she shares a daughter named Daisy. Bloom also has a son named Flynn with his ex-wife, model Miranda Kerr.
There’s no animosity between Perry and Kerr. In fact, the women are actually friends, and they’ve spoken highly of each other in various interviews. Kerr has also talked about her positive relationship with Bloom post-divorce.
Katy Perry is Friends with Orlando Bloom’s Ex Miranda Kerr
On a recent podcast, Kerr shared that Bloom is like “an annoying brother” to her these days. The pair were married between 2010 and 2013, welcoming their son Flynn in 2011. As it turns out, Kerr is on even better terms with Bloom’s fiancée Perry.
“I’m so grateful that she’s there because it takes the pressure off me,” she told interviewer Candace Parker. “We go on holidays together. We celebrate all the important milestones together. I love her. I mean, it’d be safe to say that I love her more than Flynn’s dad.”
Kerr added that she and Perry “immediately got along” when they met, and she appreciated how Perry acted with Flynn, saying, “She was not trying to be his mum. She was just being friendly and fun, and that’s all you can ask for.”
After splitting from Bloom in 2013, Kerr went on to marry businessman Evan Spiegel, with whom she shares two sons named Hart and Myles.

Perry, Kerr Post About Each Other on Social Media
Perry and Kerr also make appearances on each other’s social media pages. Back in April, they teamed up for an Instagram Live video. Perry joked that being friends with Kerr comes with the benefit of trying out the skincare products in her KORA Organics line.
More recently, Perry posted a video of the pair posing together at a skincare launch. Kerr also congratulated Perry and Bloom on the birth of their daughter Daisy last year, writing, “Can’t wait to meet her.”
In November of last year, Kerr talked about her positive relationship with Perry on Drew Barrymore’s talk show, explaining that it’s important for Flynn to have happy parents.
“I adore Katy, and I just feel so happy that Orlando has found someone that makes his heart so happy, because at the end of the day, for Flynn to have a happy father and a happy mother is just the most important thing,” Kerr said. “I’m just so grateful that Orlando and Katy found each other, and I’m so grateful that I found my incredible husband.”
