‘The Voice’ Contestant Sings Sexy Duet With Christina Aguilera During Blind Audition

Michael Lynch sang “Bailamos” during his Blind Audition on The Voice in 2013. The sexy singer really impressed Christina Aguilera who danced along to the song. She loved the performance so much that she joined Michael up on stage for a duet.
Michael Lynch Did A Duet With Christina Aguilera On ‘The Voice’
Michael’s vocals were enough to turn Christina’s chair. She sat with a smile on her face and sang along to the Enrique Iglesias hit. CeeLo Green and Blake Shelton also turned their chairs. Adam Levine’s team was full so he, unfortunately, could not turn his chair. After the performance, Adam literally walked off to the side of the stage to sit in the corner because he would’ve loved to have Michael on his team. This is not the first time Adam has pulled a move like this during The Voice Blind Auditions.
It was clear that Christina was going to fight to get Michael on her team. Michael ended up choosing her as his coach which was not a surprise at all. In fact, the most shocking part of this Blind Audition was the fact that Christina went up on stage to sing a duet with Michael. She asked for the music to start playing and flaunted some Latin dance steps before joining Michael to sing the song again. It was totally epic and fans of the show were excited to see how Christina would coach Michael in future rounds of the competition.
“That was completely unexpected, not planned at all,” he said in an interview with Iowa Now. “When she approached me on the stage, I was simply going to thank her. When she asked for the music, I couldn’t believe it.”

In The Battle Rounds, Michael went up against Josh Logan. The pair sang “Harder To Breathe” by Maroon 5. Singing one of Adam’s songs right in front of him is certainly nerve-wracking but they both did a great job. Christina chose Josh as the winner of The Battle which eliminated Michael from the competition. Where Is He Now?
After competing on The Voice, Michael has continued to upload his music on his YouTube channel. This includes original songs and covers for his 14,000 subscribers.
Michael has a musical setup inside of his house and promised his followers that he will never give up on his dream. “I know it will be a lifelong journey of learning how to grow as a singer, producer, and engineer…and I’m ready for all the ups and downs this career entails,” he wrote.
He is also currently seeking work as a demo singer in any genre as per his profile on the music marketplace site Sound Better.
