1. Patrick Dempsey and Jillian Fink
The former Grey’s Anatomy star met celebrity hairstylist and makeup artist Jillian Fink at Fink’s Salon Delux in 1994 when Dempsey scheduled a quick trim.
“I was shocked [when he came in for an appointment] but at the same time, I was happy because he was so cute,” Fink recalled to People.
It took three years of regular haircuts before the two got together and eventually got married in July 31, 1999 at his family’s farmhouse in Maine. The couple have one daughter Talula Fyfe and twin sons Sullivan Patrick and Darby Galen together.
Fink filed for divorce in 2015, but dismissed their divorce in November 2016.
2. Adele and Simon Konecki
Since getting together in 2011, Adele and Simon shielded most details of their relationship away from the public eye.
The 29-year-old singer and 44-year-old charity entrepreneur quietly married in 2016, two years after welcoming their first child together, son Angelo in 2014.
Adele and Konecki split up after more than eight years together in 2019, and Adele is looking better than ever.
3. Anne Hathaway and Adam Shulman
It was love at first sight for these two. A mutual friend introduced Hathaway to Shulman, an actor-slash-jewelry-designer at the Palm Springs Film Festival in 2008.
From the moment Hathaway met him, she knew he was the man she prayed for. The two lovebirds have two sons together, Jonathan and Jack, whom they welcomed last year.
4. George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin
Clooney fell in love with Lebanese-British human rights lawyer Alamuddin when a mutual friend brought her by his Lake Como home.
They welcomed twins, Ella and Alexander in June 2017. They split their time between England, the U.S., and Italy.
5. Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth
The two first met in 2010 at a friend’s party when the actress had an encounter with a “really drunk guy” hitting on her and “making such an idiot of himself” — that is, until Jim stepped in.
By the end of 2010, Jim proposed to Reese and the two tied the knot shortly after on March 26, 2011. The couple exchanged their vows in an intimate ceremony in Ojai, California.
The couple now has one child together, Tennessee James Toth. Reese also has two children from her previous marriage with Ryan Phillippe.
