The Voice Season 27 returned on Monday for the final round of Blind Auditions, as the coaches finished filling up their teams. John Legend was the first coach to fill up his team, as he won over the season’s final four-chair turn.

The Voice Blind Auditions Wrap Up with Final Four-Chair Turn

Monday’s show opened with a tender performance of Ed Sheeran’s “The A Team” by Jay Ammo. John Legend was the first coach to turn around, followed soon after by Adam Levine and Kelsea Ballerini. Michael Bublé was the final coach to turn, making Jay a four-chair turn.

Legend told Jay that his voice was “floating through the room” as he performed. Levine described him as “ethereal” and “magical.” Ballerini said Jay “really inspired me,” calling him a “creative force.” Bublé said he initially heard pitch issues, but they “subsided” when the other coaches turned.

Jay ultimately chose to join Team Legend. Later in the night, Legend picked up yet another amazing artist when Pablo Herrera took the stage to sing “Jealous” by Labrinth. After beating out Ballerini and Bublé to win over the singer, Legend’s team was full, so he had to sit out the rest of the night’s auditions.

Adam Levine Is the Last Coach to Fill His Team

After Legend finished filling up his team, Ballerini and Bublé were the next coaches to complete their roster. That meant that the final artist of the season, 17-year-old Trevon Dawson, had to win over coach Adam Levine in order to get on the show.

Trevon performed “Religiously” by Bailey Zimmerman, showing off a strong country voice. It didn’t take long for Levine to turn his chair for the performance, meaning Trevon would automatically join his team. Bublé was so impressed by the audition that he gave Trevon a hug, saying Levine “got a massive score.”

Legend told Trevon that he has a “lived-in voice.” Levine told Trevon’s parents that they “raised this kid right,” adding that it felt like Trevon was performing just for him when he turned around. He predicted that Trevon “could win the show.”

Next week, the Battles will begin, as the coaches pair up their artists to narrow down their teams. Which coach do you think has the strongest team this season? Let us know in the comments below.
