Alesha Dixon made her US TV debut this year on ‘AGT: The Champions’. With the rise in controversy over the axing of both Julianne Hough and Gabrielle Union, could Dixon join the panel full-time?
This year’s America’s Got Talent Panel could see some big changes
This year’s season of AGT is open to all possibilities. With two judges axed last year from the show, Simon Cowell facing huge backlash over treatment of Marcelito Pomoy and Sofia Vergara in talks with NBC, it’s possible many talks with producers are occurring behind the scenes ahead of this year’s launch. With Alesha Dixon gaining popularity amongst viewers, could she see a full-time role at the show?
Gabrielle Union and Julianne Hough were both axed from AGT last year
In an interview with ET Live, Alesha was asked whether she would be interested in appearing on the show this summer.
I don’t know. I would love to be out here more, for sure. We’ve been coming out here on holiday every year for the last decade. And every time we come here, we’re like we wanna work out here more, we wanna be here more. I always feel so inspired and energised when I’m here. And it’s definitely a place that when I’m here, it feels right. I should be here.
Sofia Vergara is another possible judge on the new season
Back in December, it was reported that Vergara was in talks with NBC about the possibility of working on America’s Got Talent 2020. Whilst no official announcements have been made, Sofia has just finished filming the very last episode of Modern Family and it’s possible she’s already eager to find her next big TV role.
Would you like to see Sofia Vergara on the AGT panel? Let us know in the comments!
As for Howie, we can expect him to stay. At this rate, he’ll never leave and we aren’t complaining!
