‘Asia’s Got Talent’ Audition Confuses Judges
Two Korean women introduced themselves to the Asia’s Got Talent judges as J Strings. They started playing music when they were kids, and later picked up the electric cello and electric violin.
“How old are you guys right now?” judge Jay Park asked the women. They replied, “It’s a secret.”

The women then started their dramatic audition. They began by standing back to back, then moved beside each other to perform on their instruments.
Things got strange when they stopped playing and proceeded to dance seductively while waving their bows. The judges told them they found this part of the audition confusing.
What Did The Judges Think Of Their Performance?
“That performance, I don’t know what to make of it,” judge Jay Park told them. “It’s kind of a little confusing. I actually enjoyed the very first part of the performance.”

“Your playing was okay, but it wasn’t great,” David Foster told them. “And then I got confused when you all of a sudden busted into dance. I’d say work on your playing, and incorporate your sexuality into your playing, but not separately.”
The judges voted “no” to sending J Strings forward in the competition. Commenters on YouTube seemed to agree that the dancing was a weird addition to the performance.
One commenter said their performance on the instruments was “badass,” but the dancing was “awkward.” Other people said the dance gave them secondhand embarrassment.
