Magician Swallows RAZOR BLADES In ‘Asia’s Got Talent’ Audition

You’re guaranteed to be amazed by Japanese magician TanBA’s audition on Asia’s Got Talent last year. The showman performed a dangerous trick involving razor blades that had the judges on the edge of their seats.
It’s not TanBA’s first time performing on a Got Talent stage. Check out his performance in the video below, and read on to find out how the judges reacted to the scary trick. And remember — don’t try this at home!
TanBA Eats Razor Blades On ‘Asia’s Got Talent’
TanBA introduced himself to the Asia’s Got Talent judges by saying he does “hungry magic,” adding, “I will eat everything.” When judge Anggun asked if it was dangerous, he replied, “I’m not sure.”
Well, it certainly looked dangerous! TanBA, who was dressed in a towel and robe, started his routine off by magically changing into a yellow suit, to match his sneakers. But what he did after that had the judges cringing.

He brought out a tray of razor blades, and proceeded to swallow them one by one. Anggun was so bothered by the dangerous trick, she hit her red buzzer. David Foster soon joined her. After that, TanBA removed the razors from his mouth, all lined up on a string.
He ended the routine with an unexpected fart gag. Bending over, a spray seemed to come out of TanBA’s rear end. He lit it on fire and created a huge flame that had the audience gasping.
What Did The Judges Think Of The Trick?
David Foster said he was “confused,” telling TanBA, “I just don’t know where you fit in in the world.” Jay Park, on the other hand, said it was “pretty amazing.” He voted “yes” to sending TanBA through.
Anggun voted “no,” leaving it up to David. Although he was initially going to vote “no,” the cheers from the Asia’s Got Talent audience convinced him to change his mind. “Every once in a while, those few hundred people behind me influence us.”

TanBA had previously auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent in 2017. He swallowed a balloon, and then several razor blades, and then he pulled them back out. Simon Cowell said it was “one of the greatest things I’ve ever seen on this show.”
TanBA also appeared on Penn & Teller: Fool Us in 2018, although he failed to fool the magicians. Based on his Instagram, TanBA recently performed with Gonzo, whose tambourine performance you might remember from BGT.
