Why Isn’t Sofia Vergara Judging ‘AGT: All-Stars’?

America’s Got Talent: All-Stars is set to premiere January 2 on NBC, and you’ve probably noticed that judge Sofia Vergara is absent from the panel. The actress, who has appeared on the past three seasons of AGT, didn’t participate in the spin-off.
Sofia Vergara Won’t Be a Judge on AGT: All-Stars
AGT: All-Stars will feature a three-person judging panel, as Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, and Howie Mandel return to the show, along with host Terry Crews. Vergara, whose Golden Buzzer act the Mayyas won Season 17 earlier this year, is sitting the spin-off out.
The reason for Vergara’s absence isn’t entirely clear, and different outlets have reported different things. Hello! magazine reported that a reason was not given, while Parade reported that Vergara was busy with an acting job.
Vergara’s IMDb page doesn’t list any upcoming projects other than the Netflix miniseries Griselda, which appears to have wrapped filming earlier this year, before All-Stars was scheduled to tape. However, that doesn’t necessarily mean Vergara wasn’t busy with other commitments.

Some Fans Are Unhappy About Vergara’s Absence
Vergara’s absence from the All-Stars judging panel has not gone unnoticed by fans. Social media posts about the new spin-off include comments from users who wish Vergara was part of the show. As one fan wrote, “If she’s not there then your show is nothing.”
Other commenters have simply asked, “Where’s Sofia?” Another wrote, “Things wouldn’t be the same without her.” A lot of people seem surprised and disappointed that the Modern Family star won’t be present on the judging panel.
Auditions are currently open for Season 18 of the show, and Vergara hasn’t announced her departure. So hopefully she’ll be back on the panel for the regular season when the show returns next year. In the meantime, catch the premiere of AGT: All-Stars on Monday, January 2 on NBC.
I’m very sad not to see Sofia Vergara on the show. What is wrong with them to leave her out of the new season. She is one of the best judges. I really hope that something happens and she returns. I think they should have said something why she’s not on the show. Sofia wherever you are we miss you not seeing you on AGT. Come back soon your the best!!!

Sofia Vergara is one of the best judges I have ever seen. She is kind, considerate, positive and understanding of all contestants. Her comments always bring such passion and appreciation of the efforts demonstrated by every contestant. Thank you Sofia for always making AGT worth watching. I hope you get a chance to read this.

Very disappointed that Sofía Vergara will not be a judge on AGT all stars. Reason was not clearly given…very poor tactic by AGT. She doesn’t need them anyway!!!

Thank God showing her middle aged sagging breasts cheapen the show dressing like a hooker young children on the show having to endure her breasts bouncing why Simon and producers sponsors allowed shameful display?! Im sad to not see sofa on the 2023 America get talent you are right the show is not the same with her but i hope next year she will be back on America get talent from michelle and i still watch the shows and i love the show so far
I think it is a real shame that Sophia is not back for the All-Stars AGT. One of the most interesting parts of the show is to see what she wears as well as what Heidi wears. Not to mention their jewelry and makeup and hairdos. Sometimes the acts are just secondary. You can get rid of Terry though. I can’t stand the way he shows off his chest and acts like he’s so important. He’s actually annoying. Sky
Well for me I am glad she is gone. I was tired of looking at her cleavage every show. I do think there should be another judge, just not Oprah.
