Wayne Brady Hosts ‘Game Of Talents’ — What Is This New Talent Show All About?
There’s a new talent show on the horizon, this time hosted by comedian Wayne Brady. It’s called Game of Talents, and will air on Fox. The show is based on a Spanish format, and sounds pretty interesting.
What makes this show stand out from the rest is that the talents are meant to be a mystery. Read on to find out more about what we can expect from this fun new series, and mark your calendars for the premiere.
Wayne Brady Hosts Talent Show ‘Game Of Talents’
According to Variety, Game of Talents features two teams who will try to guess the hidden talents of the performers based on clues, for a chance to win money. Wayne Brady, who won Season 2 of The Masked Singer, will host and executive produce the show.
“What excites me about this series and this concept is every week we get to show off talents that will amaze, inspire and, in some cases, make your jaw-drop,” Wayne said in a statement. “As someone who loves games and loves all types of talent, this was a perfect fit for me and I’m thrilled to be a part of the creative team bringing it to life. I also get to give away someone else’s money, which I always enjoy doing!”
The show format originally aired in Spain, and is also branching out to the UK, Sweden, Holland, and Belgium. In the UK, the contestants will be paired up with celebrities to guess the talents, but that doesn’t seem to be the case in the American version.
When Does ‘Game Of Talents’ Premiere?
Fox has released a teaser for the upcoming season of Game of Talents. “Can you figure out their talent before they actually perform?” Wayne Brady asks in the clip, which features brief shots of the acts.
It looks like the talents will include acrobatics, basketball, and possibly even hula-hooping. One of the contestants guesses that a performer is a synchronized dancer, although it’s not revealed if she was correct.
According to the trailer, Game of Talents will premiere after The Masked Singer sometime in March 2021. The show will air Wednesdays at 9 pm, so make sure you clear your schedule for a chance to watch.
Wayne Brady shared his excitement about the show last year, writing, “My want is to do as much in this life as I can artistically and behind the camera. Sometime the path you choose isn’t the one you’re offered but that’s half the fun!”
