WATCH John Legend And Faouzia Perform New Chilling Duet ‘Minefields’

Moroccan-Canadian singer Faouzia first made her debut on The Kelly Clarkson Show in 2020 performing “I Dare You.” Since then her career has completely blown up especially after dueting with music superstar John Legend. The pair performed their song “Minefields” on The Kelly Clarkson Show. Watch the performance below.
John Legend And Faouzia Perform Duet On ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’
Kelly hilariously called John a “perpetual loser on The Voice” before introducing his duet with Faouzia. John began the song sitting at the piano while Faouzia stood at the microphone in a gorgeous shimmering gown. Their voices melted together to create a perfect harmony.
A music video for the song was released on January 28. It’s full of stunning visuals out in nature and has over 6.5 million views on YouTube.
“Working with John on this video was such an incredible experience,” Faouza told Billboard. “We hadn’t previously met in person, having worked on the song together remotely, but things felt so comfortable and light together on set. Despite the long (and cold) days, I had such an amazing time and am so grateful for the countless talented people working behind the scenes to bring this beautiful visual to life.”
Faouzia actually co-wrote the song with Sam Martin, Ali Tamposi, Johnny Goldstein and J Kash. She previously released her debut EP Stripped which features an acoustic version of her smash hit “Tears Of Gold.” Kazakh singer Daneliya Tuleshova covered this song on America’s Got Talent increasing its popularity even more.

Faouzia posted a video of Daneliya’s audition on Instagram for her 1.9 million followers. It was very special to her that Daneliya chose to sing one of her songs on the America’s Got Talent stage. Faouzia called Daneliya a “powerhouse.”
Fans Are In Love With This Duet
Performing with John who has won 11 Grammys is definitely a huge accomplishment. Fans of Faouzia think she seriously deserves way more hype and is very underrated. They flocked to the comments on the video posted by The Kelly Clarkson Show to rave about the 20-year-old singer.
“I FEEL SO BAD FOR THE PEOPLE WHO HAVEN’T DISCOVERED HER YET,” one fan wrote in the comments. Faouzia is not only very talented but speaks English, Arabic and French. A lot of her music is inspired by her Arabic roots and she is a multi-instrumentalist. “The people who still don’t know this angel are really unlucky!” another fan wrote.
“This little Moroccan girl is stunning, such an underrated angel’s voice she deserves more light on her cuz the world hasn’t discovered her talent yet. love you Faouzia” wrote another fan.

Others wondered how Faouzia hasn’t taken over the music scene yet. Having a song with a huge artist like John and appearing on The Kelly Clarkson Show is certainly a good start at taking over the music world.
