Anne Sings ‘Price Tag’ On ‘The Voice Kids’
Anne started her performance by setting up a camera at the front of the stage to film the coaches as they turned around for her. She wore a backwards baseball cap over her long hair, and had a flannel shirt tied around her waist.
Anne showed off an amazing stage presence from the get-go, as she launched into an energetic performance of “Price Tag” by Jessie J. Even before they turned around, she had the coaches dancing in their chairs.
Coach Sasha Schmitz was the first to turn around. Lena Meyer-Landrut was the next to turn. Meanwhile, Mark Forster actually stood up in his seat and crouched down. He ended up hitting the button with his foot when Anne launched into a rap interlude.
The coaches continued to dance as Anne finished her performance. Lena told her that her rapping and singing skills would fit well on her team, while Mark pointed out that he stood up for her.
Fans Compare Anne To Avril Lavigne
While trying to get Anne on their teams, Lena and Mark came up to her camera to say hello, while Sasha showed off his beatboxing skills as she rapped. She ended up choosing to join Mark’s team.
Some people commenting on Anne’s audition couldn’t help but notice her similarity to a certain singer. “She looks like young Avril Lavigne,” one person wrote. “Avril, she’s your daughter,” wrote someone else.
