Jake Hoot Announces Kelly Clarkson Duet
Before making the announcement, Jake had teased on Instagram that something big was coming. Then on Monday, he shared that he and Kelly would be singing together on his new song “I Would’ve Loved You,” off his upcoming EP.

Kelly hasn’t commented on the collaboration yet, although Season 18 winner Todd Tilghman (from Team Blake Shelton) commented on the Instagram post, writing, “So awesome!” Jake replied, “thanks homes!”
Jake’s EP will be released January 27. He’s been teasing some of the tracks on Instagram recently. Titles include “Something We Can Slow Dance To,” “This Is The Night,” and “Love Out Of Time.”
What Has Jake Been Up To Since ‘The Voice’?
After winning The Voice in 2019, Jake released his winning single “Better Off Without You.” In February of 2020, he made his debut at the Grand Ole Opry. He’s since released several singles, including “Tennessee Strong,” which benefitted emergency relief following tornadoes in his home state.
