Top 10 Favorite Viral ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ Auditions Ever

There have been a variety of Britain’s Got Talent auditions that have been amazing. Yet, there were truly a few performances that we will never forget. Here’s 10 of our favorite viral Britain’s Got Talent auditions of all time

1. Loren Allred, Season 15

Loren Allred is a professional singer from Brooklyn who competed on BGT in 2022. During her introduction, she revealed that she was the vocalist behind “Never Enough” from The Greatest Showman. The same song served as her audition piece, convincing Amanda Holden to press her Golden Buzzer.

2. Kyle Tomlinson, Season 11

Initially auditioning for season eight then coming back for season 11, Kyle Tomlinson shared that he’s already received professional singing lessons. For his audition performance, he belted out “Hallelujah” by Leonard Cohen. After the performance, David Walliams hit his Golden Buzzer, sending him straight to the Semi-Finals.

3. Issy Simpson, Season 11

Issy Simpson is the granddaughter of magician Russ Stevens who participated on BGT in 2017. Her audition performance revolved around a magic box containing several items to execute her magic. Impressed by her magic act, all judges decided to send her to the next round of the competition.

4. Donchez, Season 12

Donchez Dacres introduced himself as a British-born Jamaican-raised man during his BGT stint. For his audition, he sang his own song entitled “Wiggle Wine.” This performance got the whole crowd, including the hosts and the panel, dancing along.

5. Tom Ball, Season 15

Aged 23 at the time of the competition, Tom Ball is a theatrical singer, hailing from England. During his audition, he performed “Writing’s On The Wall” by Sam Smith. At the end of his act, Holden said that he’s “one of the best singers” the panel has heard in years.

6. Ghetto Kids, Season 16

Ghetto Kids are a Ugandan dance troupe that joined Britain’s Got Talent. Before their audition performance, they shared how connected they are to the orphanage. Subsequently, they went on to perform a break-dance routine to “Mi Gente” by J Balvin and Willy William and “(Waka Waka) This Time For Africa” by Shakira.

7. Axel Blake, Season 15

Aged 33 at the time of the competition, Axel Blake is a comedian who was working at Property Maintenance. His audition consisted of a stand-up routine, making remarks about the London Underground, contactless credit cards and relationships. Obviously impressed by his act, Cowell hit his Golden Buzzer, sending Blake through to the Semi-Finals.

8. Bars and Melody, Season 8

Leondre Devries & Charlie Linehan are a singing and rapping duo during BGT 2014. During their audition, they sang a song protesting about bullying entitled “Hopeful.” Moved by the performance, Cowell pressed his Golden Buzzer, advancing them to the Semi-Finals.

9. Asanda Jezile, Season 7

Hailing from Eastern Cape, South Africa, Asanda Jezile is a Beyonce who participated on the show in 2013. In her audition, she belted out “Diamonds” by Rihanna while dancing along its beats. After her performance, Cowell praised her incredible stage presence.

10. Calum Scott, Season 9

Hailing from Hull, Calum Scott was Simon Cowell’s Golden Buzzer recipient back on BGT 2015. His sister Jade auditioned first but she was sent off after her off-key performance. When it was Calum’s turn to sing, he sang “Dancing On My Own” by Robyn, followed by the crowd’s standing ovation.
