‘The Voice’ Coaches Perform Blake Shelton’s ‘Honey Bee’ In Hollywood

Halloween may be over but The Voice coaches are still celebrating the spooky spirit. Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, Kelly Clarkson and Jennifer Hudson surprised onlookers with an upbeat mash up of Shelton’s Honey Bee, in Hollywood.
They sang Blake’s song Honey Bee to a big crowd on Hollywood blvd. Shelton and Levine made the perfect team, dressed as Batman and Robin. It makes sense because the two of them have a very Batman and Robin type of relationship. Blake is kind of an older mentor and Adam likes to wear tight pants. Also, like the Dynamic Duo, their friendship has a touch of homoeroticism. Our soulful queen J. Hud dressed in a sexy, skin-tight Catwoman ensemble. Jennifer is a really good actress and I think the next time they make a Batman movie with the Catwoman that they should consider JHud. After all, if Eartha Kitt could do it in the 60’s, why not Jennifer. She’d be a lot more interesting than milktoast Ann Hathaway. And then there’s Clarkson…who dressed up as the cutest little penguin we ever did see! I love how she’s not dressed as THE Penguin, which would have fit in with the theme, but rather as A penguin. Leave it to Kelly to be iconoclastic.
It was so exciting to see the coaches do what they do best, and prove why they are the best mentors in the music game. Check out the feel good performance below.
