‘The Voice’ Alum Sasha Hurtado Dazzles in Her New Single ‘Someone’

The Voice singer Sasha Hurtado has recently celebrated Valentine’s Day by releasing a stirring single, “Someone.” This song also marks her second music project since she joined The Voice season 22.
Sasha Hurtado Drops New Single on Valentine’s Day
In a series of Instagram posts starting February 2, Hurtado teased that she would be putting out new music. The singer particularly made use of letter beads to reveal the title of the song, “Someone.” According to her, such single is a laid-back one which all can listen to on Valentine’s Day.
“It’s a song of love, joy, friendship- just a feel good positive tune for everyone’s valentine’s day or galentine’s day,” she wrote.
“Someone” is already available in all digital streaming platforms. Subsequently, fans are evidently proud of Hurtado for coming up with the song. In the comments, fans praise the composition for being beautiful and fun at the same time.
Since the beginning of 2023, Hurtado has dropped two full singles. The first one was “Going Through The Motions” which she released in early January. The singer described this indie pop song as her new era for new year.
“Someone” is a Heartwarming, Sentimental Track
Almost a week ago, Hurtado announced that she created a simple lyric video of “Someone.” This three-minute content not only emphasizes the lines of the song, but also highlights a number of raw video clips of Hurtado’s close families and friends.
Truly, “Someone” has perfectly captured the singer’s genuine feelings towards her real-life loved ones. The lyrics may not be as deep and complex as the others, but it nevertheless warms a listener’s heart.
“I’ve never had a friend like you / someone who I can call / when times are getting rough / And I’m feeling a little small,” she sings. “Someone who sticks around / Through the good and the bad / Someone, someone, someone.”
In the same lyric video, Hurtado inserted some of her special moments with other cast of The Voice. For those who may not know, Hurtado has made good friends with Team Gwen singers Alyssa Witrado and Daysia. The rising star obviously treasures this bond, as reflected in her newest single’s visualizer.
