RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 6 winner Kylie Sonique Love recently revealed that she was asked to appear as a Lip Sync Assassin on All Stars 8. Apparently, the drag queen wasn’t able to do so after an unfortunate event. Here’s all the tea.

Kylie Sonique Love Was Recovering From An Injury While Drag Race All Stars 8 Was Filming

It’s no secret that Kylie Sonique Love is a fan-favorite winner from the spinoff drag series. In a now-deleted tweet, Love reflected on her two-year reign as the season six winner and expressed what she feels for the then-upcoming Finale of season eight.

“After reining almost two years as [the] RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 6 winner, I have to say it’s been such an honor to be inducted in the Hall of Fame with such amazing queens. I’m so excited to see who will be joining us. Are you #TeamJimbo or #TeamKandy?” she wrote.

A fan then replied to her tweet, stating that she could’ve been a great Lip Sync Assassin and a competitor of a future season. In turn, Love didn’t shy away from replying, explaining why she couldn’t accept the role.

“I was asked to do it, but I had an injury. I was supposed to do ‘Jumpin’, Jumpin’. Can’t do no jumping with a f’d up leg. Maybe next time,” she wrote.

Apparently, Love was the first choice to appear as the Lip Sync Assassin for “Jumpin’, Jumpin’” by Destiny’s Child. With her non-availability, Canada’s Drag Race winner Priyanka took her place.

Priyanka Reacts to the Revelation

After finding out about Love’s tweet, Priyanka took the time to react. According to her, the Drag Race winner would’ve “ATE ATE ATE ATE it.” Priyanka then quoted Love’s tweet, further explaining her sentiments regarding the revelation.

“Now I need to see Kylie do this song. You know she woulda killllllled it,” she wrote.

Love, on the other hand, was quick to reply, “No mama you slayed.  It was meant to be you. America needs to see you.”

During RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 8’s epic Finale, Jimbo emerged as the victor, defeating runner-up Kandy Muse. The announcement came after Jimbo sang a comical ditty about eating corn and being born.
