Things sure got interesting this week on RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 6. In a head-turning “RuVeal,” the queens discovered the “game within a game” that has been secretly going on since the onset of the season. In a shady twist, eliminated queens were given the opportunity to fight their way back into the competition. Let’s just say, the top four queens were less than happy about the news.
Ra’Jah O’Hara, Trinity K. Bonet, Ginger Minj, and Kylie Sonique Love had a full on melt down upon hearing Ru’s shocking news. Just when the finalists thought they were safe, judge Carson Kressley appeared on screen to deliver the news.
“Welcome to Rupaul’s Secret Redemtion Lip Sync Smackdown,” Kressley announced. “A competition so big it’s been nine weeks in the making.”
The earth-shattering news sure caused a rise out of Ra’Ja. She sure didn’t hold back her feelings in her confessional.
“This is a bunch of f*cking bulls*it,” the queen said. “I done came here to turn this motherf*cker out, and they telling me they’re about to do a motherf*cking redemption? F*ck that! They gave me 30 minutes to bask in the God damned glory!”
Smackdown Lip Sync Battles Spark the Game Within a Game
In the first round of the smackdown lip syncs, Serena ChaCha versed Jiggly Caliente in the first redemption battle. Caliente was fierce and ready to fight. It was also explained that the winner of this battle would advance to compete against the next eliminated all star.
“I hope you’re ready to go back to Miami, because, you’re about to get a new your beat down,” Caliente said.
The two battled to En Vogue’s “Free Your Mind.” They left it all on the floor, but it was clear that Caliente wanted the win just a little bit more. She showed off her moved, as she dropped down into a full split on stage.
In the end Ru chose Jiggly Caliente to advance in the competition.
“Shantay you stay,” Ru famously announced. Now, Caliente is one step closer to rejoining the competition as the drama continues.
