The New ‘X Factor: All Stars’ Judge Will Leave You Speechless
Reading Time: 2 minutes
This year we’ve seen Simon make some big changes to the judging lineups on his most popular talent shows. From Alesha Dixon making the move to ‘America’s Got Talent’ to the long time legend, Louis Walsh returning to this year’s ‘X Factor: Celebrity’ but Simon’s latest change for ‘All Stars’ may be his biggest yet…
Paula Abdul is joining the all new lineup
Paula is an all time favourite when it comes to talent shows and having her back behind the judging panel alongside Simon is enough to warm our hearts! It’s also been eight years since they have both appeared on screen together, so let’s hope their chemistry is just as good as it was back in the American Idol days. Joining them both is judge Louis Walsh, we can’t say that wasn’t expected!
Brand new location for X Factor: All Stars
It has also been announced that after huge spending on the celebrity version of the show, it will be filmed in a different location. For the first time ever it is being filmed from Birmingham, England. An insider from the show said, “The locals will get quite the shock when they see stars like Paula Abdul walking around and it’ll probably be a culture shock for those coming from abroad.” Birmingham isn’t exactly a city known for showbiz and glamour so it’ll take some time for Paula to settle in!
Who are the ‘All Star’ contestants?
The full line up has not been fully released. A few big names have already been confirmed however, with artists such as Leona Lewis, James Arthur and Fleur East set to return. It’s also likely that X Factor contestants from across the globe will also take part, similar to how ‘The Champions’ version of both AGT and BGT played out.
When will the ‘All Star’ spin off show begin?
The show is set to air around November time on the lead up to Christmas. It’s been an X Factor tradition for quite some time, so by the time it comes round to the final and the winner’s single is out, it’ll release just in time for the festive season! Winners singles in the past have included Alexandra Burke’s ‘Hallelujah’ which across all platforms graced 1.39 million sales.
