‘The Masked Singer’ to Premiere “All-Time Countdown” of Greatest Performances
Reading Time: 2 minutes
The Masked Singer is moving to a new night next week for a special event. Instead of airing a new Wednesday night episode of performances, the show will host the “All-Time Countdown” of greatest performances in its history. On October 26 and 27 The Major League Baseball World Series will air on FOX bumping both The Masked Singer and Alter Ego.
When Should I Expect to Watch The Masked Singer Again?
The Masked Singer will move to 8 p.m. Monday for the special event. The upcoming premiere will not be similar to what we normally see on the show. Instead, they will show new behind-the-scenes footage of celebrities that have been unmasked in the past.
This special episode will also premiere new clues for the remaining celebrities in the competition. Although there will be no performances or eliminations, FOX will share footage that isn’t normally shown. After the week of October 25, The Masked Singer will go back to their normal night and time slot.
We will see the next rounds of performances and unmaskings on Wednesday, November 3 at 8 p.m. If you happen to miss the episode on October 25 it will air once again on Tuesday, November 2 if The World Series has concluded.
When Can I Watch Alter Ego Next?
Alter Ego, on the other hand, is canceled altogether next week. Unlike The Masked Singer, Alter Ego will take the week off from the competition. Instead of changing the date of their premiere the virtual reality competition series will air its next episode on Wednesday, November 3 at 9 p.m.
There are currently four singers who are moving on to the semi-finals, eight who have yet to perform in the new round and eight that have been eliminated. Each head-to-head round has featured singers in sets of two. The singers both perform and then judges decide which to send to the next round. This formatting has made it so there are four singers participating in each episode.
