‘The Masked Singer’ Teases ‘Unhinged’ Season 13 in New Promo

The Masked Singer is set to return for Season 13 on Wednesday, February 12. The show recently shared a new promo for the upcoming season, teasing some of the new costumes and declaring this “the most unhinged season yet.”
The Masked Singer Teases Season 13 in New Promo
“Welcome to lucky Season 13!” host Nick Cannon says to start the promo, which includes shots of contestants in interesting new costumes — including what looks like an ant in a dress, the Loch Ness Monster, and something that looks like coral.
The promo also shows costumes that looks like a blueberry muffin, a large bird, an alien cowboy, and more. We also get a sneak peek of a new character called Lucky Duck, who will appear throughout the season and be unmasked at the end. They tell the panel, “You guys are all a bunch of quacks.”
During the clip, panelist Rita Ora can be heard saying, “I didn’t think this show could get any crazier.” The promo ends with the four panelists (Ora, Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy, and Ken Jeong) standing in an elevator with the show’s past winning costumes surrounding them.

Who Won Last Season?
With two seasons a year, it hasn’t been very long since Season 12 of The Masked Singer came to an end. The finale aired last month, as Buffalos went up against Wasp. At the end of the night, Buffalos were named the first group winner of the show.
They unmasked to reveal that they were the members of iconic R&B group Boyz II Men, while Wasp was revealed to be “Let Me Love You” singer Mario. The season also featured Strawberry Shortcake (AJ Michalka), Goo (Kobie Turner), and more.
