Reading Time: 2 minutes
The Masked Singer Season 9 is set to premiere on Wednesday, February 15. As production gets underway, Entertainment Weekly recently shared some tidbits about the upcoming season. That includes a few costumes we can expect to see.
The Masked Singer Season 9 Character Names Revealed
EW shared a video from The Masked Singer which reveals several character names for the upcoming season. Unfortunately, there are no costumes shown, but we know that Season 9 will feature Mustang, Dandelion, Jackalope, Gargoyle, and California Roll.
The show also shared a poster with a glimpse at some of the costumes, although the names weren’t revealed. EW predicts that these costumes depict a rooster, voodoo doll, salamander, and moose. That gives us nine new contestants to consider as we head into Season 9.
The magazine also confirmed that themed nights will be back this season. The On Camera Audiences website, where fans can get tickets to tapings, reveals that this season’s themed nights will include Opening Night, ABBA Night, New York Night, and Superhero Night.

Will the Full Panel Be Back This Season?
According to EW, the full panel (Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy, Ken Jeong, and Nicole Scherzinger) will be back for Season 9, as well as host Nick Cannon. This is good news for fans who were recently worried that McCarthy and Scherzinger might not be back.
The source of concern was the show’s official FOX website, which only listed Cannon, Thicke, and Jeong under “Meet the Hosts and Panelists.” McCarthy and Scherzinger still aren’t featured on the page for some reason, but it looks like they’re coming back.
Unfortunately, any guest panelists or celebrity cameos have yet to be announced for the new season. Hopefully we’ll find out more soon.
Be sure to tune in to Season 9 premiere of The Masked Singer on Wednesday, February 15, at 8 p.m. on FOX.
