Fox Announces Premiere Date of The Masked Singer Season Nine
Another lineup of masked celebrities is set to ignite the stage as The Masked Singer season nine begins. According to Fox’s press release, the upcoming season will feature the comeback of special themed episodes. Additionally, the new set of celebrity costumes will include wacky characters such as French Hen, Doll, Axolotl, and Moose.
The singing competition show will premiere on Wednesday, February 15. As it airs on its respective network, The Masked Singer will still be in the middle of filming. This is perhaps the reason for its earlier than expected release.
On Instagram, The Masked Singer promises “crying,” “singing” and “freaking out.” As there had been major changes back in season eight, there is only one modification in the show for season nine. Each episode will be shorter television tapings than before.
Fans Hope to See Watch Particular Themed Nights
While fans are excited to witness how season nine will unfold, they are specifically thrilled for themed nights. Some concepts they want to see are Disney Night, Broadway Night, and Ballad Night.
Meanwhile, The Masked Singer fans also discuss the characters they think would make the show iconic. One user wants to see one celebrity wearing a Winnie The Pooh costume. Meanwhile, some threw their ideas for group costumes, mentioning Wolf Pack and Combo Meal.
The Masked Singer ranked as Fall 2022’s number one unscripted series for the fourth consecutive year. It averages 7.2 million multi-platform viewers, making it Fox’s top reality series.
