The Masked Singer Season 9 returned on Wednesday night for the Quarterfinals, which was also British Invasion Night. The remaining four contestants took the stage, and at the end of the night, UFO was unmasked as Miss USA and Miss Universe winner Olivia Culpo.

UFO Unmasked in The Masked Singer Quarterfinals

UFO took the stage on Wednesday night’s episode to perform “Tears Dry on Their Own” by Amy Winehouse. Although the panelists were impressed by her performance, it wasn’t enough to earn her a place in the Semifinals.

At the end of the night, after receiving the least amount of votes from the panel and audience, UFO was eliminated and forced to unmasked. Final guesses from the panel included Molly Sims, Gigi Hadid, Lily Collins, and Rebecca Romijn.

However, they all ended up being wrong, because it was actually pageant queen Olivia Culpo. Panelist Nicole Scherzinger was shocked, since the two are friends. Culpo joked that she likes to sing in the shower, and she might take those performance up a notch after this experience.

Macaw, California Roll, Medusa Move on

Wednesday’s episode of The Masked Singer also featured some great performances from Macaw, California Roll, and Medusa. All three of them ended up moving on to the Semifinals, where they’ll compete against each other to earn a spot in the Finals.

Macaw interpreted the British Invasion theme by singing “Your Song” by Elton John. Panelist Robin Thicke predicted that they could win the whole season. Guesses about Macaw’s identity included Macaw-lay Culkin (obviously from Ken Jeong) and David Archuleta.

Then California Roll took the stage for a haunting performance of “Creep” by Radiohead. Guesses from the panel included Pentatonix and the cast of Hamilton.

This week’s episode also featured a comeback performance by Medusa, who won a second chance in the competition thanks to the “Ding Dong, Keep It On” Bell. They performed an emotional rendition of “Someone Like You” by Adele. Guesses included Ellie Goulding and Bishop Briggs.
