‘The Masked Singer’ Guest Judge Nicole Byer Reacts to Armadillo Falling on Stage
The Masked Singer Season 7 returns Wednesday night with a new episode, and it looks like Armadillo is going to have the second onstage tumble of the season. Judge Nicole Byer reacts to the embarrassing moment in a preview of the new episode.
Armadillo Falls During ‘The Masked Singer’ Performance
We first met Armadillo last week, when they performed with the second group of the season as part of Team Good. This week, things apparently get a little clumsy for them on stage. Although we don’t see the fall in the video, guest judge Nicole Byer mentions it.
“Wow, I loved the energy when you fell down,” Byer tells Armadillo. “I was like, ‘Ooh, there he goes!’ I love that you just got right back up. You weren’t like, ‘Help, I’m hurt!’ I would have just stayed down there and been like, ‘That’s a wrap on me.'”
Armadillo responds by telling the judge, “Well, I would have, but Nick Cannon was saying, ‘Get up right now!'” The host agrees that he “would say something like that.”
This marks the second time this season that one of the contestants has lost their balance on stage. In the premiere, McTerrier (who turned out to be celebrity chef Duff Goldman) came close to falling, and his mask came off, nearly revealing his identity.
