Taylor Swift, Meghan Trainor Top the iTunes Chart
Swift’s highly anticipated 10th studio album Midnights hit the top spot on the iTunes sales chart overnight, with an alternative Apple Music version (featuring an extra eight-second track called “Meet Me at Midnight”) taking the No. 2 spot.
Trainor’s fifth studio album Takin’ It Back, featuring her singles “Bad for Me” and “Made You Look,” was right behind Swift on the chart, at No. 3. The singer took to Instagram to post a screenshot of the iTunes lineup, writing, “Casually laying next to a queen @taylorswift.”
Swift has since taken over the top four spots on the chart, having surprised fans after her album’s release with an additional 3am Edition featuring seven more songs. Swift is also dominating the songs chart with these new releases.

Both Singers Have Released New Music Videos
To mark the release of their new albums, both Swift and Trainor have debuted new music videos. Swift dropped a self-directed video for her song “Anti-Hero,” while Trainor premiered a video for her track “Made You Look.”
Swift’s video is a playful take on her lyrics, in which she interacts with another version of herself and even spies on her own funeral. Trainor’s video features celebrity cameos from JoJo Siwa, Pentatonix star Scott Hoying, and Trainor’s husband Daryl Sabara.
It was recently announced that Trainor is joining Australian Idol as a judge for a new season airing next year. She’ll sit on the panel beside former American Idol judge Harry Connick Jr., as well as singer Amy Shark and radio host Kyle Sandilands.
Loving every inch of Meghan Trainor’s album. I’ve had it on a loop since yesterday.
