Taylor Frankie Paul, known for the Hulu reality show The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, has been announced as the new star of The Bachelorette. Season 22 of the long-running dating show is expected to premiere in 2026 on ABC.
Taylor Frankie Paul Announced as ‘Bachelorette’ Star
Taylor Frankie Paul is a 31-year-old divorced mother of three who helped popularize the #MomTok trend on TikTok. Paul is one of the stars of the Hulu reality series The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. Now she’s looking for love on the new season of The Bachelorette.
The stars of The Bachelorette are typically contestants from previous seasons of The Bachelor. As Deadline points out, this is the first time the show’s star has been chosen from outside Bachelor Nation. The Bachelor Season 25 star Matt James was also not associated with the franchise previously.
An official premiere date for The Bachelorette Season 22 has not been revealed, but it is expected to debut on ABC in early 2026. Paul’s co-stars Whitney Leavitt and Jen Affleck will soon appear on another ABC series, as they compete on Dancing with the Stars Season 34 this fall.

Is Paul Open to Dating Non-Mormons?
Since Taylor Frankie Paul is known for her Mormon religion, some fans might be wondering if she’s open to dating non-Mormon men on The Bachelorette. The answer is apparently yes, as she told Good Morning America in an interview after the official announcement.
“I would be open to dating outside my religion,” Paul said about what she’s looking for in a partner. “And learning about new religions, and trying them. That’s something I’ve always wanted to do.”
While she’s open to dating a non-Mormon, Paul told Good Morning America that it’s a “dealbreaker” if a man she’s dating doesn’t want to be in her videos for social media.
Season 3 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is set to premiere on Hulu on Thursday, November 13.
