Snoop Dogg is currently in Paris working as a correspondent for NBC at the Summer Olympics. As Snoop shares his commentary on the various events, social media has been talking about his rumored salary for the job. Is he really making $500,000 per day?

Snoop Dogg Rumored to Make $500K Per Day at Olympics

On Sunday, X (formerly Twitter) user @henrylmcnamara posted, “Sat next to an NBC exec at dinner, he said Snoop gets paid $500k a day plus expenses to be here promoting Olympics. From Gin and Juice to a few million to be a celebrity at the Olympics – what a world.”

The post has received over 13,000 likes as of this writing. According to Complex, sports business reporter Darren Rovell responded by sharing that the number “sounds about right.” He said the first amount that came to his mind when asked about Snoop’s salary was $10 million.

Despite the rumors, Snoop’s salary for his Olympics coverage has not been officially confirmed. We also don’t know how much he’s making for his new gig as a coach on The Voice, also on NBC. Snoop will join the show for Season 26, premiering September 23.

Snoop Is ‘Having So Much Fun’ in Paris

“When the lights are on, that’s when I shine the best,” Snoop recently told the Associated Press about his role as a correspondent. “This opportunity was nothing but a chance for me to show the world what it’s supposed to look like when you put the right person in the right environment.”

The rapper has been busy, but he still found time to hang out with his friend Martha Stewart on her birthday. Snoop said he’s been more focused on relaxing than sleeping during his time in Paris, because he’s “having so much fun.”

“This ain’t the town to sleep in,” Snoop said. “This ain’t the time to sleep. This is time to be on it like you want it. It’s different events happening day and night. I want to be active with everything, because I love the American athletes and competition. This is what I’m here for.”
