Snoop Dogg, Gordon Ramsay Set to Open a Restaurant Together

Snoop Dogg confesses about his plans of opening a restaurant with multi-michelin starred chef Gordon Ramsay in Glasgow, Scotland. The rapper-songwriter encountered the Scottish restaurateur during The F Word years back.
Snoop Dogg Reveals Restaurant Plans
Snoop Dogg, a 50-year-old self-proclaimed foodie, recently revealed that he has been talking to Ramsay about establishing a restaurant together. However, the pandemic forced their plans to take slow progress. The pair has already considered possible locations for the restaurant.
“Gordon has got a few places in Vegas and Vegas is Snoop’s City – so I kind of figured that we would open a place there,” he said. “But I know Gordon is from Scotland and people know my love for Scotland and for Glasgow as a city so – why not there.”
Snoop released his first cook book titled “From Crook to Cook: Platinum Recipes from That Boss Dogg’s Kitchen” back in 2018. Additionally, he recently created his own cereal brand, “Snoop Loopz.” For food hacks, he contacts Ramsay.
Meanwhile, Ramsay is a celebrity chef who is currently running 35 restaurants around the globe. He once opened a restaurant in the One Devonshire Gardens hotel in Glasgow, named Amaryllis. Unfortunately, his head chef David Dempsey passed away, so he discontinued restaurant operation.
He Says Their Restaurant Will Offer Food for the Family
When asked about the possible menu, Snoop said that it will be “food everybody could enjoy.” He also hoped that the food options will include his personal favorites.
“Burgers, mac n cheese, fried chicken – and maybe one or two local dishes like haggis just to keep things authentic,” he said.
Snoop has been cooking for his kids and grandkids for a long time. Hence, it is only understandable that he described the future menu as food for the family.
“I’m just a foodie. I don’t look like it, but I am. I love different styles of food, different cultures, and different tastes,” he said.
When the rapper found out that celebrity chef Martha Stewart who he collaborated with in Martha and Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party opened her first restaurant, he was admittedly stimulated to do the same.
