Simon Cowell Reunites with ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ Judges for Dinner

Simon Cowell is currently appearing as a judge on America’s Got Talent, but he hasn’t forgotten his friends in the UK. The music mogul recently had dinner with two of his fellow Britain’s Got Talent judges.
Amanda Holden hosted an outdoor dinner party over the weekend, and Cowell was invited, along with David Walliams. Since this year’s season of BGT was canceled due to COVID-19, it was nice to see the judges coming together in their off time.

The three judges were joined by Cowell’s partner Lauren Silverman, as well as talk show host Alan Carr and his husband Paul Drayton, who shared a group photo from the dinner on his Instagram. He called Holden “the fabulous hostess with the mostest.”
Drayton also wrote that Cowell paid for his dog Tuppence to be flown from South Korea, in addition to nine other dogs rescued from the meat trade. In the photo, everyone smiles for the camera except for Cowell, who’s looking at Walliams and appears to be pulling his ear.
Walliams posted his own picture with Cowell on his Instagram page. They’re smiling with their arms around each other. Walliams captioned the photo, “True love.” Fourth judge Alesha Dixon wasn’t at the dinner, but she commented, “Awww my boys,” with three heart emojis.

Holden Was Celebrating Her Belated Birthday
Holden posted her own photo from the night on Instagram, posing between Cowell and Silverman. “Fabulous to catch up with these two,” she wrote, adding that they had an “outdoor supper.” The star wore a printed dress with a leopard’s face on the front.
The evening was apparently meant to celebrate Holden’s birthday. Her friend, actress Tracy-Ann Oberman, posted a selfie with Holden, writing, “Such a lovely night celebrating my lovely friend @noholdenback birthday. Real laughter filled night.”
If you know when Holden’s birthday is, you might be confused. She turned 50 years old back in February of this year, but it looks like this might have been a belated celebration now that pandemic restrictions have eased.
It looks like Cowell is enjoying time in the UK recently, but we expect him to be back in the states pretty soon, as the America’s Got Talent live shows will be starting in the coming weeks. He’s certainly been up and about a lot since recovering from last year’s bike accident.
