Shin Lim Marries His Girlfriend! Watch Their Marriage Story And Emotional Proposal

AGT winner Shin Lim is celebrating his marriage to girlfriend Casey Thomas, two years after his magical proposal. Shin recently won the first season of AGT: The Champions, and is fresh off a guest appearance on the Season 14 live shows.
The 27-year-old magician posted an Instagram photo this week from Maui. In the pic, he and Casey are wearing matching Hawaiian shirts and looking lovingly into each other’s eyes. “Today was absolutely amazing,” he wrote. Last week, he posted that there was “a week before I get to marry the love of my life.”

Casey is a 24-year-old Australian dancer. Shin credits her with his success on AGT, because she’s a huge supporter of his passion for magic. In a Valentine’s Day tribute on Instagram, Shin shared that he had doubts about auditioning, but Casey “pushed me to go for it.”
“She tells me that she thinks that I’m the best magician in the world. She really believes in me. Especially when I don’t, ’cause I definitely don’t.”
What Was Shin’s Marriage Proposal Like?
Casey shared clips of Shin’s proposal, as well as their marriage story, on Instagram this week. Shin proposed to Casey in 2017 during a magic show.
In the clip, Casey can be seen appearing in a cube on stage during another magician’s act. The performance is then interrupted by Shin, who appears with a ring box. He explains that they met on that very stage a year prior, and had their first kiss a few hours later.
“I want to spend the rest of my life with you,” Shin tells Casey in the clip, before getting down on one knee.
What Was Shin And Casey’s Wedding Like?
Casey and Shin’s beautiful Hawaiian wedding overlooked the water. The bride walked down the aisle in an off-the-shoulder white gown, with pink flowers in her hair. The event also featured surfboards for guests to sign.
