The Voice coaches are always trying to help their artists find new opportunities after the show. Season 20 singer Pia Renee just joined John Legend for his current Bigger Love Tour. Legend has long been a favorite performer at the Ravinia Festival in Highland Park, Illinois. He returned to the venue for a night of incredible music to remember.

John Legend Invites ‘The Voice’ Season 20 Singer Pia Renee on Bigger Love Tour

Pia first posted her all-access pass to the show on her Instagram Story on Saturday. She reposted an Instagram story from one of her former classmates who attended the show in Ravinia on Sunday. Pia was born and raised in Chicago and has been trying to launch her music career after years of putting her dreams on the back burner.

The Voice alum later showed off a sneak peek of her outfit that she wore on stage with Legend. She rocked a green feathered outfit and teased that she’s “on that green light.” This is a reference to Legend’s 2008 song “Green Light.” Legend shared a green outfit of his own over on Instagram that he has been wearing during the tour.

Pia was a member of Team Legend on The Voice after a two-chair turn at her Blind Audition. Her performance of “What the World Needs Now Is Love” during the Knockouts was one of the highlights of the season. She was one of the artists up for the Instant Save in the Semifinals. Jordan Matthew Young received the most votes, sending Pia home.

Legend played the Ravinia venue on Sept. 5 and is playing the venue again tonight. The EGOT winner captivated the concertgoers with multiple outfit changes throughout the night. His pastel purple suit has been an iconic fashion moment during the tour. He can rock a suit in any color or pattern.

Looking at videos from the Bigger Love Tour so far, Legend has also been dancing a lot on stage. We’ll probably see more of his dance moves on Season 21 The Voice premiere Sept. 20. It’ll be interesting to see if any Season 20 alums return to perform on the NBC show.
