Ariana Grande Joins Season 21 of ‘The Voice’, What Will She Gift Her Team?

A new season of The Voice is right around the corner and a new judge is in town! This fall, Ariana Grande will sit alongside fellow coaches Blake Shelton, Nick Jonas, and Kelly Clarkson for season 21. As we know, the coaches are notorious for having a ball on set. One tradition they will also continue this season, is their gift-giving to each new team member. In the past, Clarkson has given out jackets, Jonas gave his team notebooks, and Shelton gave away bobble heads. Rumor has it, Grande gifted her team members goodie filled lunch boxes. But what could be inside?
What’s Inside Team Ariana’s Lunch Box Team Gifts?
1. Sweets
Considering the fact that her fourth studio album is called “Sweetener,” a lunch box filled with sweets would be right on-brand for the Grammy winner. For this, I’m picturing individually wrapped candies. We will need to take some COVID-19 precautions after all. This would be an adorable start to her first season as a coach.
2. Ponytail Extensions
You can’t think of Ariana Grande without picturing her signature ponytail. It would be a hilarious concept for Grande to hand out a little piece of her signature style to each new team member. I can even picture the entire team taking a photo with the long brown locks clipped to their heads.Â
Maybe that’s the source of all her power? Now that I think of it, maybe all her abilities do come straight from the ponytail.
3. Thigh-High Boots
Though Grande has a huge voice, she stands at a significantly small stature. Reaching only five feet in height, she is known to rock high heels at every event. One of her favorite varieties, is the thigh-high boot. This would be a very funny gift to each new team member. Yes, the men could rock them too. In fact, it is encouraged.
4. Oversized Sweatshirts
While judges in the past have been known to give out jackets to their team members, I feel that Grande would go for something unique to her. The oversized sweatshirt is a look the artist is known to rock on the stage and in the street alike. Pair the garment along with the thigh-high boots and ponytail extension, and you could have a team full of Ariana Grande look-a-likes.Â
5. Eyeliner
As you may begin to notice, Grande has a multitude of signature style elements. When it comes to her makeup, a winged eyeliner moment is simply never left out. One of her most recreated eyeliner looks comes from her “Rain on Me” collaboration with Lady Gaga. Makeup is something that is unique to everyone. With a special eyeliner gifted by Grande herself, every member on her team can express their individuality in their own special way.
6. Whistles
A nod to her iconic four octave range. Grande joins the likes of Mariah Carey and Minnie Riperton with her whistle register. While very few singers are able to sing this high, the trait is most associated with Grande in this generation. Gifting whistles to her team members would be a cute accessory, and who knows, maybe someone on her team could actually match pitch with it.Â
7. Rings
See what I did here? Grande’s single “7 Rings” took the world by storm after debuting from her thank u, next album. It could be an interesting gift to provide team rings to each member. The fashion accessory is also engrained in sports culture to signify a championship. This gift provided at the start of the season, could act as a metaphor for a potential win as part of Team Ariana.Â
The Voice Season 21 premieres September 20 with the blind auditions. We can’t wait to see not only Grande’s team gift, but how well she does as a coach in her first season!
