Ryan Seacrest Helps with American Idol Gender Reveal
Seacrest welcomed the Padilla family on stage at Aulani after he spotted their sign about a gender reveal. They introduced themselves as parents Brandon and Britney, and two daughters named Ellie and Ariella.
According to Seacrest’s post, the family was disappointed to have left Aulani the day before filming began there a few years ago. They booked this trip without even knowing the show’s filming dates and ended up being there at the right time.
Britney, who is currently pregnant, predicted that she would be having a boy, while Brandon thought it would be another girl. They gave Seacrest an envelope to share the news. At first, he jokingly said the gender would be revealed after the break.
Eventually, Seacrest shared the news that the couple is expecting a baby girl. Brandon was especially excited to have been right. The family hugged Seacrest before leaving the stage, as the audience cheered.
